Garden Cottage
GARDEN COTTAGE is a lovely carrstone and brick one bedroom detached bungalow with a delightful Victorian style conservatory. The bedroom has a 5' king size bed and pine furniture. The bathroom has a 'P' shaped bath with power shower over, wash hand basin and w.c. The spacious kitchen and lounge are 'open plan' with French doors leading off the lounge into a lovely Victorian style conservatory with delightful views over our side and rear gardens. The kitchen has white units with black worktops and a breakfast bar to one side. The dining area is within the large bay window overlooking the garden. The patio with furniture and BBQ is off to one side. Allocated private car parking is approximately 35 metres from the road in our gravelled private driveway which is approximately 100m from the cottage private entrance gate on Cheney Hill. Changeover day is Friday.
This cottage is ideal for couples who want holidays throughout the year, however there is a two seater sofa-bed in the lounge for extra guests.
Linen is provided for all beds (duvets) plus extra blankets. Towels can be provided upon request.
PETS: Well behaved dogs may be accepted by prior arrangement only please. For the health and comfort of all our guests, please ensure the following:
- Your pet has suitable and up to date flea treatment.
- Your pet is not allowed in the bedrooms (anywhere upstairs in Guest Cottage) or on the beds.
- Please do not leave your pet unattended in the cottage unless (a) it is used to this or (b) it is in a suitable sized cage.
- Please do clean up after your pet on the patio and within the gardens of Cheney Hollow. There is a doggie poo bin just a few meters away from the end of our driveway, to the left. Please see Guest Information pack for further details of 'dog friendly' beaches and other areas in and around Heacham.
Occupancy runs from Friday 2 p.m. until the following Friday at 10 a.m. Occupancy for short breaks runs from 2 p.m. on the first day to 10 a.m. on the last day.
The property has been inspected by Quality in Tourism Assessment Scheme and awarded Four Star Gold Self Catering.
GARDEN COTTAGE ACCOMMODATION: ALL ON ONE LEVEL
The entrance to the cottage is reached via a private gravel path from Cheney Hill. There are two steps down from the pavement along the entrance path, and one shallow step up from the path to the cottage's front door.

Doors to bathroom and lounge/kitchen area.
Open-plan LOUNGE/KITCHEN
Fully equipped kitchen with electric cooker, fridge with icebox, microwave, washing machine with tumble drier. The lounge has a comfortable 2 seater sofa-bed, colour television with Freesat and DVD player, radio, coffee table, dining table and chairs.
FRENCH DOORS TO VICTORIAN-STYLE CONSERVATORY
Two sun room armchairs from which to enjoy delightful views over the gardens.
BATHROOM
Comprising :- Modern P-shaped bath with power shower over and glass screen door. Wash hand vanity basin, WC. and electric razor point. Towels provided on request.
BEDROOM
The bedroom has a 5 foot king size bed with pine furniture, and airing cupboard with immersion heater.
