Guest Cottage -- Electricity via solar panels

In our continuing effort to 'go green' as much as possible, we have now installed solar panels on the roof of Guest Cottage.

As a guest in our cottage you won't really notice the difference but believe me, during daylight hours you are using electricity that is being produced by those panels. The electricity meter should be mostly stationary during the daytime and may even go backwards if we have a particularly sunny day!

Please help us use this system to its maximum potential by using high energy appliances (washing machine and dishwasher for example) during the daytime or daylight. Using the cooker during daylight hours would also be preferable but understandably cannot always be convenient for some guests.
