Guest Cottage
Guest Cottage is a pretty carrstone and brick one bedroom, detached property built in the mid 1800s. Upstairs, the large bedroom has twin beds which can be zipped together to form a super king size. The bathroom has a bath and power shower over. Downstairs are the kitchen and lounge with french doors opening onto a large, sunny patio with its own garden furniture, barbecue and a rotary clothesline. Access is approximately 45 metres from the road up our gravel driveway with space for two small cars directly outside the front door.
This cottage is perfect for couples, however there is a double sofa-bed in the lounge for extra guests. A Z-bed and cot are also available on request -- please let us know when booking.
Linen is provided for the beds (duvets) plus extra blankets, however please bring your own bedding for the cot, if required. Towels can be provided upon request.
Small dogs may be accepted by arrangement and with suitable flea control treatment. Please do not leave pets unattended in the cottage or gardens.
Occupancy runs from Saturday 2 p.m. until the following Saturday at 10 a.m. Occupancy for SHORT BREAKS runs from 2 p.m. on the first day to 10 a.m. on the last day.
The property has been inspected by VISITBRITAIN National Quality Assessment Scheme and awarded 4 STARS SELF-CATERING.
GUEST COTTAGE GROUND FLOOR
Entrance to the cottage is via a large porch which provides coat and shoe storage space. This leads into a fully equipped kitchen with electric cooker, fridge with icebox, microwave, automatic washing machine with tumble drier. Breakfast alcove with small table and chairs and storage heater

The lounge has a comfortable 2 seater sofa-bed, easy chair, colour television with Freesat and DVD player, radio, occasional tables, dining table and chairs.
It has an attractive character brick fireplace with electric coal effect fire and storage heater.

FIRST FLOOR
The landing contains the airing cupboard with immersion heater and a large wardrobe with shelf. The large bedroom, with storage heater, has twin single beds which can be zipped together on request (please let us know when booking!). There are three windows from which to enjoy delightful views over the gardens.
Bathroom comprising :- bath with power shower over, wash hand basin, WC., electric razor point and electric panel radiator. Towels provided on request.

WiFi networking for laptop computers etc may be available. Please contact Sue or Pete at the house when you arrive for the network name and password. You should ensure that your own internet security software is up to date before joining this network. WPA/WPA2 encryption is used, so some older WiFi implementations such as that used in the Nintendo DS may not be able to join.
Please don't smoke inside our cottage.
